Ordering

Q: If I order, how long will it take?
A: Good question. If you are ordering a painting, you can be pretty sure it will arrive within 10 days. We guarantee delivery within 4 weeks, because some pictures run out fast and we have to actually have them painted for you. Rest assured, your order will arrive in due time. If you are unsatisfied, we will make it right. Also, if you are ever unsatisfied with our service, you may report us to the
Public Eye, a service that monitors online shopping sites to make sure customers don't get ripped off.

Q: I don't have a credit card. Can I pay by check?
A: Yes. We have set up our shopping system with you in mind. You may shop the same as a credit card customer. When you are done, just check out and you can specify "Pay by check/money order." It's THAT simple!

Products

Q: Do the paintings come "as is?" Or will they be in a frame?
A: Yes and NO. The paintings that you see on this site are actual scanned papyrus paintings. They come as you see them here. We do not perform framing, but if you would like us to suggest a framer in your area, please note that when making your purchase.

Q: How old is your parchment?
A: Its not parchment, its papyrus. It is cut and processed recently - sometimes even made-to-order. It's not antique material.

Q: Do you have Christian pictures on papyrus?
A: YEP. We have not put them online yet. We will have them available long before Christmas. If you would like to know more,
contact us.

Q: Is it real?
A: YES. All our paintings are set on authentic Egyptian papyrus material, grown, processed and painted in Egypt. Each comes with its own Certificate of Authenticity, your proof that you are the new owner of a valuable AND beautiful painting.

Q: Do you also sell large (full-size) relief reproductions of Egyptian artifacts, weapons etc. etc.
A: Yes. These are not items that we always carry. But we of course have access to them. If you are interested in any product that you did not find on our site, please
contact us, and he will find it quickly and send you the price and details.

Q: Do you carry perfume bottles or other items?
A: Yes.
Contact us for prices and details.

Special Orders

Q: I am looking for a massive, huge [insert name]. Can you get me one?
A: YEP. Probably so. Go
contact us about it.

Privacy/Security at Pharaonic Arts

Q: Is it safe to transmit my payment over the internet?
A: Not always. It depends on WHERE you are buying from and what type of security they offer. We are very careful to protect our visitors AND customers from fraud and crime. We use a secure shopping cart, provided by Americart. Your credit card information is not even transmitted to us directly. We have to manually go to the secure site to look at it. In addition, we keep our operation on a "need-to-know" basis. That means that only the people who NEED to see your personal information are allowed to see it. We take security VERY seriously. (

Q: Will I be spammed if I give you my email address?
A: Well, if you insist, we COULD... Of course not. Other companies may do that, but Pharaonic Arts understands the need for privacy, especially now that overzealous internet marketers have decided that spamming is ok. I am disturbed by that also. Don't you just LOVE to get emails that say "Re: Your question." You KNOW you didn't ask any question! Who ARE these people? Not us. We get those emails too! (
